Cheapest FRT I've seen
Posted by Zay on Feb 3rd 2026
Not gonna lie, I was very sceptical at first bc the website looks sus, but thankfully I was wrong.
The FRT didn't fit perfectly, I had to chisel the push pin slightly bc the pins on my Tx22 were very tight. The installation videos I've seen basically file the sides down, but I only needed to file the pin. I did this by pushing the FRT up and down the pin bc it wouldn't rotate. I'm not sure if the FRT was slightly small or the TX22 I bought was too big, but in the end, I got it to work, and for a great price.
The ammo is picky, I love Monarch bc it's cheap and fires for all my other 22LR firearms, but it kept jamming. Bought some CCI and worked flawlessly. My friend was also successful with Federal. -

WOW

If you're thinking about it, just get it. Easy install. Mine just dropped in. Now I can't keep 22lr in the house. So much fun! I installed mine in a TORO compact. I'm going to try the GSG drum adapter and get 100 rounds on tap. Fingers crossed for that one. If you have basic gunsmithing know how, you can do this yourself. Well worth it! Puts a grin on everyone's face. Even people just watching. Get one!

Looks good
Posted by James smith on Dec 8th 2025
I have not got to try it yet because there’s no tx22 other than the compact models with the thin pencil barrel waiting to get the right one before I try it. The product looks 100% like the big high dollar fingers/freedom
